Theme 8 - Repeating Patterns

Regular?  Irregular?  Natural?  Man-made?

All of the above! 

I am excited about this theme.  The last two themes were truly a challenge for me and I would say that I didn't put my best foot forward.

With this theme, I feel relaxed and have a ton of ideas in my head!  It helps that the days are getting longer and more sunny.  We are all feeling the benefit of the healing rays of the sun as we come out of a inversion laden winter.

Theme 7 - Recreate a Song Title

It is Tuesday and I am just getting to introducing this weeks theme.  Even worse I do not have any shots in the can for this challenge.

I am in good company though...  :)  Everyone else seems to be having the same issue.!  This was much harder than I expected it to be.  I was out of town for the weekend and even though I was surrounded by great opportunities, I made other commitments and could not take the time to shoot.

Benny was sick over the weekend and was actually going to give in and not submit a photo.   ????  He has rallied now and like the rest of us will be shooting tonight.

I finally have a shot set-up in my head.  A homage to Shirley Temple, who passed this last week.  If the weather cooperates I will have a couple of additional shots as well.

Can't wait to see what comes from this.  Definitely an interesting challenge.

Great shots this week.  Many interpretations.  Which is exactly what I would expect from our talented bunch!

Lindsay and I went with a more literal translation of the theme and Brad and Benny.....well they did what they do best and went out of the box.
